There is a great deal of material of historical interest, especially in the interviews, so we intend to produce a book and CD ROM collection of the complete run of Cascade with the available interview audio recordings, high resolution photo scans and my recollections of the work that was required to produce these journals. All of the interview recordings have now been digitized in preparation for production of this product. I owned a tabletop offset press, and I did the best I could with it. Never the less, the printing and paper used in the magazines was substandard, so all of the text will be typeset, and the original photo prints and slides will be scanned in high resolution. Many of the people who were interviewed in Cascade, and several of the contributors of art and comix have passed away. Others of have gone on to worldwide fame, for example Art Spiegelman, who contributed art, including a wraparound cover, was interviewed in 2 issues of Cascade, and went on to win a Pulitzer Prize for his graphic novel Maus. We also have unpublished interviews photos and art from that period to round out the planned Cascade Comix Monthly package. Please bookmark this page for updates on this project. In 2003, Fat Freddie at Underground Collectibles acquired our remaining back issues of Cascade Comix Monthly and other Everyman Comics inventories. We do not have back issues for sale. However, I do have some related items for sale on eBay as of May 31, 2025. Here is a rundown on the contents of all issues of Cascade. A huge thank you to everyone who helped me create them! These little magazines, published from 1978 until 1981, each
has a color cover, an interview with a top cartoonist or publisher, original
art, comix, various articles, reviews and underground/small press news. The
exceptions are issues 15 and 23, which are only comix and art.
